Homemade Honey and Tomato Face Mask

Honey and tomato face mask is one of the most very interesting recipes due to its composition and effective actions.

This mask is suitable for all skin types, except those who are allergic to that nutrition stuff.

Honey oatmeal tomato facial mask benefits

  • Honey and tomato mask have antibacterial properties. These products enhance the properties of each other in combination and are excellent in the fight against acne and acne scars.
  • You can also use this mixture as a moisturizer or as a cleansing facial tonic. You will receive a gentle scrub if you add chopped oatmeal to honey and tomato mixture.

I make this mask only that way. Exfoliating effect is arising from adding oatmeal and the mixture become thickens and convenient to use.


  • 1 ripe tomato
  • 1 Tbsp of honey
  • 1 Tbsp of ground oatmeal

How to make a tomato facial

You can squeeze the juice and pulp from the tomato using a mesh strainer. This way you get tender puree. The skin and the seeds are remaining in the filter.

I act differently. Remove the tomato core. Cut the vegetable into pieces. Chop it in the blender or multiquick.

Tomato for face skin

It turns thick tomato juice with seeds which act as natural peeling.

Mix 1 tablespoon of obtained juice with oatmeal and honey to a uniform mass.

Apply the mask onto your face and neck with massage movements. Wait for 15-20 minutes until the mask will get its beneficial effects over your skin.
