Dry skin should always be nourished and moisturized. Otherwise, scaly patches of the skin which appear on the face don’t improve mood and well-being. An avocado mask for dry skin with natural yogurt and oatmeal is good way home care. Avocados contain monounsaturate fats and vitamins “A” & “E” which make it indispensable for dry and aging skin care.
The lactic acid which is present in yogurt will help your skin to get rid of dry cells. Besides, yogurt has a tender texture and does not annoy sensitive dry skin. Oatmeal acts as soft mechanical peeling.
Ingredients:
- 1/2 of ripe avocado
- 1 Tbsp of natural yogurt
- 1 Tbsp of oatmeal
Cut in half avocado and extract the seed. Pull out the avocado flesh with a teaspoon and mash it with a fork. Whole oats are too rough for the skin so it is desirable to grind oatmeal for 5-10 seconds. Use yogurt without sugar and additives.
Mix all ingredients together. You will get a soft greenish mixture.
Liberally apply it on the face and neck. You are free to do any other things or just watch TV.
Wash your face with a soft sponge in 20 minutes.
