To tell the truth one of the best homemade face masks for sensitive skin is an avocado and heavy cream mask. Marvelous avocado is a great fruit. It is not allergenic and contains a large amount of natural vegetable fats.
It’s very useful to add avocado to your daily diet. That fruit is indispensable for dry and sensitive skin treatment. Regular avocado mask can be compared with expensive creams for their highest effectiveness.
Heavy cream is a gentle product. It does not contain acids which can irritate sensitive skin. I also add egg yolk to the mask. Egg yolk mask have a revitalizing effect of the face skin.
- 1 ripe avocado
- 1-2 Tbsp of heavy cream
- 1 egg yolk
Cut the avocado in two parts. Remove the seeds. Take the pulp of one half using a tea spoon. You can easily make mashed avocado with a fork if it is ripe.
Separate the yolk from the egg white. Mix the egg yolk with avocado into a homogeneous mass.
Now add the heavy cream to get medium thickness.
Apply the mask onto your face and don’t lose the time to make a salad from the second half of the avocado.
That is the example for salad:
- Finely chop the avocado flesh with a knife.
- Add the sliced tomato.
- Cut the onion in half. Make a series of fine crosswise half-rings. Scald it with boiling water.
- Add olive oil, salt and a few drops of lemon.
- Mix the ingredients and … enjoy the taste.
Don’t forget about the mask!
Wash it off after 20 minutes with lukewarm water. Splash the face with cold water.

And what about salad?
At first I would like to say that homemade facial mask for sensitive skin should be soft and delicate. This type of skin is very susceptible to external irritants. Weather conditions, very cold and very hot temperatures, strong winds can cause sensitive skin irritation.
Therefore, who got it, permanently needs some extra care about sensitive skin. I collect mask recipes for sensitive skin and I also come up with my own versions. Furthermore I try to use knowledgeable natural products and take great care to find the best skin regime tailored for my sensitive skin.
Some of the masks I don’t like ever so they become disposable and unacceptable for next use. Some others I like and keep in my collection.
One of them is the apple mask with heavy cream and egg yolk. It looks like an avocado mask, but it has to be done different way.
- 1/2 green apple
- 2 Tbsp of heavy cream
- 1 egg yolk
Use a green apple. It is not allergic. Buy low-fat cream if you don’t like fatty foods. It will not be worse or ineffective.
Wash the apple. Clean it up and cut in half. Remove the core with seeds and rub half an apple on a fine grater.
Pour the heavy cream into a metal bowl and place on the stove. Turn on the little heat. Put the grated apple into the cream. Cream should cover the apple.
Place the bowl over the heat stirring constantly until apples are tender. Cool the apple cream puree.
Add the egg yolks to the cooled puree and mix it well.
Apply the mixture to your face and neck with a thick layer. You can keep the mask on for 20-30 minutes.
Wet soft sponge with water and remove the mask from the face.
Did you know that an apple with heavy cream can be used like an exquisite dessert?
- Use 2 apples and 100 grams of cream.
- Add two tablespoons of the heated mixture which remained from the face mask.
- Put the rest apple puree into a bowl and add a teaspoon of natural honey.
Now you can enjoy the delicate dessert while making the mask.
