Have you ever tried to use a banana peel for acne? Be sure you have to take a chance. Acne gives us so much unpleasant minutes and creates psychological discomfort. They spoil our mood and affect us badly. Any means to an end are good in the fight against acne.

Banana peel is a great way to get rid of acne at home.

Antiseptic properties of banana peel coming from alcohol containing in it. Also this product has a lot of starch which dry the irritated skin around the acne and relieves itching.

There is an opinion that 4 days are enough to get rid of acne with the help of bananas but I think that each case is individual. Term depends of the condition of your skin, age and health. If acnes are frequent guests on your face it’s time to think about changing diet.

Wash it with cold water and dry before use. Peel fruit and cut peel into strips about 4 cm long.

Wash your face. Wipe the acne prone skin on your face with inner side of banana peel. Be careful and avoid acne breakthrough.

Change the strips by new as soon as they turn brown and throw them away. While away 30 minutes. Wash off the face with cool water. Blot it gently with a paper towel.

Repeat the procedure through 2-3 hours. Do this as many times a day as possible for a week (but do not eat more than two bananas a day).

Your skin should like banana treatment. If you feel discomfort or irritation appears on the face stop it. This method is not for you.

I do not advocate using it at night or leave it for overnight. Starch can dry the skin too much and use will be less than the harm.

Banana method gives very good result. If you combine it with other masks for acne, your skin will forget about this trouble.

You can use banana peel for acne scars.

But don’t believe in miracles. Huge acne scars will not disappear at once, but swelling and redness will be removed.
